Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 Very welcoming, easy to access with a caravan, nice and quiet with shops in walking distance. Easy to get to Halifax as we visited the Piece Hall Christmas market.

0 You have already voted! Rating:2 Very disappointed. Visited twice in earlier years and nothing has changed except trees taken down and fence erected. Building site on other side for 80 houses. Noise was from 7.45 all day. Following heavy rain the site was water logged and difficult to manoeuvre van. There are no hard stands.

Rating:5 We stayed here February 7th for what was to be 3 nights but due to the severe weather on the Saturday night we had to leave Sunday morning due to possibly not being able to get off the grass as the rain was so severe! The guy who owns the site was a real gentleman as he came out when we were leaving and he helped and pushed us off the grass we we did struggle a bit and he was so helpful and went out of his way 100% to get us safely off the grass even falling into the mud bless him whilst helping us push! We really did appreciate his help as without it we wouldn’t of been going nowhere! Many thanks. Jamie. James Noddle.

0 You have already voted! Rating:4 Nice small campsite, very good value at £14 per night including mains hookup. Great little pub next to the site too. They only have toilet facilities but what do you expect for the price. I will definitely be heading back again soon.

Also price was increased on 1st October although booking was made in early September. £18 per night is expensive for the condition of the site. We have visited other sites that are in better condition for less cost. Will not return.

Came here as we wanted to visit Shibden hall which is just down the road. The site is small (6 campers here when we visited) and has electric hook-ups which for £14 per night is great value). The site shares its outside toilets (no showers) with the attached pub/bar (Cock of the North) which is very cosy and brews its own beer which is great! The toilets are clean and well stocked with loo paper (very important!!) Will definitely visit again, the owners are lovely, the site is in a great location and as a bonus you get your own real ale pub attached, what more could you ask for?
