Rating:5 This was an amazing event. Dominicans in the UK in general and Bradford in particular are a vibrant , highly motivated and self sufficient people. Attending this event was therefore a tribute to the elders who have done so much for us the younger generations. To that end I encouraged my son to attend who is 18 years old. He was the youngest at the venue but was made welcomed by all the elders. The events of the evening were brilliant: Live Jazz Band; Ludo board games: Dominoes and Pool. The evening was capped off by an amazing meal. I introduced myself to classic families from the Island: The Serrants; Sourhaindo’s; Warringtons; Clarkes. People from the villages of Point Michel, Saulsbury, Roseau etc.
