    Poor service…….my son has been on the waiting list since 21/04/2016. When I’ve rung I just get told he’s on the list and to wait. Atrocious service!

    Would not rate 1 star to be perfectly honest. My son was on the waiting list for what seemed to be like forever, at least three years. It was only until he had a dentist appointment at his genera dental practice that they said regent street had sent a letter to us for an appointment but we missed it so we were taken off the list abs would have to go back on and wait another few years! We DID NOT receive a letter and now I can see it was likely to lessen their list! Appalling. I am now working over time to pay for the braces myself so my son is not wearing them in his twenties!

    Very disgusted by the service. Normally never have a issue, receptionists are lovely. However went a few days ago for a check up and a new receptionist was there. She was very rude and in somewhat way racist. Spoke to me extremely rudely, and made me feel uncomfortable. Told me to move back away from her when putting hand gel on me and taking temperature. However when the next person of her same colour came in she was spoken to very politely and both receptionist and the client were very close, she was not told to move back.

    My son has had a very long wait for getting his braces (over 4 years) and Covaid 19 situation has certainly not helped. I did not quite understand the process (i.e. what stage my son is at for his braces as he is not on waiting list any longer) – I came down to the Manningham Lane office on morning of 12.03.2020 and the 2 members of Staff – Sam & Karen were very friendly, professional, emphatic and efficient. Both were very patient and went out of their way to explain with clarity exactly what the process entails and the best course of action for future. After talking to Sam and Karen I can honestly say that the service I received is the best of its kind. No doubt I received a brilliant, 5 star service from both Sam and Karen.

    We were told that the waiting list was 18months-2yrs and have waited 3years! It is impossible to get through by phone, there’s been no communication about the delay and when I suggested to the blonde receptionist that people must be jumping the queue she laughed and said that’s what lots of people say, as if we’re ridiculous! But had no other explanation of how the waiting list has expanded in front of us as well as behind us! When you’re a parent and your kids are anxiously waiting or having problems and as a receptionist you’re hearing the same complaints surely you could be intelligent and compassionate enough to have some better response? Apparently not! As my daughter is about to turn 18 we have an appointment but neighbours of ours and a work colleague got sorted in 6months by going to Ilkley. My advice to anyone is make a nuisance of yourself to your dentist and insist on being referred elsewhere, worth a try.
