She wouldn’t let me get a word in edgeways and when she asked me about ‘auras’, she wondered why I knew and understood so much about my own disability, because I was using the clinical names for that type of seizures.

Something you do when you’re diagnosed (over the phone by a locum at 18) is you do a search on everything you can about that condition!
I am dreading needing to go back in a few weeks.
