Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 Went to Regency Hall to see Van Gogh Alive. We wasn’t sure what it would be like, however decided to do something different and gave it a go. This turned out to be a great choice to make. It was fab. The videos of his paintings and info was projected onto various screens around the room, screens on the floor and onto the ceiling. Plus there was plenty of space for people to sit/ stand. It looked amazing. The sunflower room was great and there’s some info boards on a few of his paintings and a gift shops. The toilets are also really smart looking! Not sure what this building looks like without all the screens but I’m sure it’s really smart. Van Gogh Alive is well worth a visit.

Rating:5 Today we had our first visit to this beautiful building for the Van Gogh Alive exhibition and it was absolutely wonderful. The building itself is stunning and was perfect for the exhibition. There’s a nice big free car park at the back of the building which is very helpful!!! The staff were fantastic too, so friendly and helpful!

Rating:5 Went to the venue for the Van Gogh alive experience……I’m not really an”arty”sort of person so wasn’t sure what to expect but I was blown away by the whole experience and definitely see art in a whole new perspective. What fab venue for the exhibition and so nice to see an old church being given a new lease of life.

Rating:5 Went here to see the Van Gogh immersive experience that’s on for the rest of this year and into next year as well. Excellent staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. The exhibition itself is,speaking personally, an absolute revelation. I thought I knew a little about the artist. Realised after the event that I had learned an awful lot more. Skilfully presented,it would be a shame to spoil it by describing the display. Can only say that it’s worth every penny.

Rating:5 Visited today for the Van Gogh live exhibition. What an amazing experience. Beautiful pictures enhanced by movement, scent and music. An unexpectedly moving experience and I never knew the range of his brilliance.

The venue is easy to find with plenty of free parking and the welcome on arrival was lovely….I actually arrived two days later than the date my tickets were booked for ( classic granny error!) but it was easily sorted by a very courteous gentlemen who’s customer service was 1st class. All the staff at Regency Hall were friendly and helpful
