James was my standout man! Your celebrant advisory – Helen in this case was exceptional too. The care and compassion you showed throughout, from start to finish was second to none. Heart warming all round service from Edwin Pounds for a heart-breaking situation.

My dad’s funeral was managed in a respectful manner and well conducted. Staff were responsive to our wishes as a family throughout. I would highly recommend the company.

We cannot thank Edwin Pounds & Sons Funeral Directors enough for the way in which they cared for our precious mother last month (February 2024). We chose Edwin Pounds & Sons because they had looked after our dear brother when he died last July. Caring, sympathetic, understanding, patient, dignified, helpful, are just a few adjectives which describe the way in which they interacted with us. Particular thanks go to Brigid-Mary who is based at the Wibsey. Queries and communications were never left answered and all were dealt with quickly and efficiently. Brigid-Mary is just lovely and perfect for the important job she does. Thank you to you all.

This was the second time we had used Edwin Pounds for the funeral of a loved one. The whole process was arranged with compassion and dignity and we would not hesitate to recommend or use their services in the future.

I could not thank everyone at Edwin Pounds enough, Jordan firth in particular, I am 23 years old and never expected to be having to plan my pops funeral but Jordan was so supportive in everything, answered all my questions I had with no hesitation and took a great weight off my shoulders in planning my pops funeral and explaining everything to me, my pops had such a beautiful service, flowers, and it was very respectful, clean and just beautiful all around! I would highly recommend and couldn’t thank this place enough!
