Basic hotel, good location, no breakfast. Louise in Reception was very friendly and helpful. Thanks Louise!

Not the best part of town but only 20 minutes from railway / bus station.
The reception in on the first floor accessed by a lift the stairs require a key card to access them. The staff are fantastic I buzzed in and the came down and opened the door as I don’t use lifts and without being asked moved my room from the third floor to.the first. Thank you great service.

Got back to travel lodge at approximately 23.20couldn’t gain access through door rang telephone number over 15 times press intercom numerous times till I lost count till I lost count eventually gain access went to reception to complain and was told only one member of staff was on a different floor. This level of service is completely unacceptable. Stayed here last week had one night with no hot water. I am paying for a service and would expect to receive a service, your reception should be man all times card doesn’t work for entry appalling

5 minutes walk from town centre. Great advice upon check in regarding places to eat in Town. Great call Tracey, lovely person to deal with.
One gripe, pg tips tea bags? This is Yorkshire, needs Yorkshire tea. Sort it out 🙂

I stayed here in January 2024 in a standard plus room. On the website it said the fourth floor is quieter than the other floors. My room was spacious and really. The area outside isn’t very busy so I doubt there would have been much difference in noise on the other floors. the reception is on the first, the only thing that’s on the ground floor is the main entrance and a lift. this Travelodge doesn’t have a bar or breakfast or dining area.
