I recently dined at Gujarati Kitchen and was quite disappointed with the experience. The menu’s descriptions were enticing, but the food served didn’t match up. The kachoris were more of deep fried momos, lacking the traditional texture. The sev puri was missing a crucial element – the puris – and had served me papdis instead . To top it off, I ordered nimbu paani but was served bottled lemonade instead. Overall, the experience fell short of my expectations. I hope the restaurant can address these issues and provide a more authentic Indian dining experience in the future.

This is a small authentic vegetarian Gujarati place! Only has 3 or 4 tables to sit at though. We wanted to try something fresh and different with no meat.

We had the Masala dosa, Bombay sandwich, masala chips and Pav bhaji. All the dishes were pretty intense in flavour. Definitely liked the Bombay sandwhich.

The server was very helpful and did a good job recommending dishes to us. We finished with a tea which tasted a bit minty or aniseedish, was nice though.

If you need a break from all the countless meat options around, try this place and give your meat munching gut a rest.

I would not recommend this place to visit at all.I bought Curry and some other stuff from there. It’s fungus on curry as pictured when I came home and opened it. None of items bought from there are not fresh. All soggy and over spiced. Looks like they are using outdated products and storing cooked food for weeks and selling them. Don’t buy from there. Think of your and your kids health. Absolutely terrible. It was first and last visit

This restaurant has been recently refurbished and has a family vibe. The food is freshly made, and that is largely due to the new chef.

The Chef is an authentic Indian Chef who brings a unique cooking experience, coupled with a splendid combination of Indian spices, and literally brings to your table the fusion of Indian street food.

The staff are very friendly and try to create a homely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, if you want to bring to your table the Indian street food experience. Well done Mira and Deep.

Came across Gujarati Kitchen through google search. Glad to have found a vegetarian place so quickly. Firstly, I was sold by the elegant and minimalistic decor of the tiny place

We ordered a Bombay Sandwich which was 10/10. It was a combination of multiple flavours and rightly warmed up. Chutney was Bit overpriced at £6
Vada Pav- it was too cold and dry. Couldn’t eat more than a bite 0/10. £3.5
Batata Vada- too good. 10/10 £0.8
Tea, it came with a small cookie 10/10. We have not had such a amazing tea in the UK before £1.9 (i guess)

Lastly, presentation was very impressive. I was in awe of it

We bought some thepla as a take away and that too was very yummy. Superb is the word for it. £3

I felt some items are overly priced like Masala Dosa and other south indian dishes. One can have a full thali instead of just a dosa of £9+

Also, I wish there was a washroom. For people traveling from far away.

In a nut shell, this is a must visit place. A beautiful ambiance for a family o...
