Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 When I’ve got through to an actual person they have been helpful. It is really hard to get through to a service through the number with the automated voice asking which service you would like to get through to, I said “bin collection” about 5 times and the automated switchboard put me through to rent every time which was frustrating, I got through by saying “waste collection”.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Recycling truck didn’t turn up. 3 days later called to ask and got through to someone who said we’ll I don’t know I don’t work for them. Message them online. What response was that? We pay for a service and they can’t even get their job done or decent staff. Bradford Council is a joke

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 This beautiful building is occupied by absolute poor excuses for councillors. It takes an hour to get out of Bradford as they have given our hard earned money to their friends in the construction business for frivolous work that does not need doing. They have nothing but contempt for residents and drivers. How on earth can there be single lane traffic in the town centre?! Takes 40 minutes just to do 1/3 of a mile. And the alternative routes have roadworks too. Disgraceful. I have been a long term Labour voter and I will never vote for them again and will make sure no one I know votes for any of them. I hope they do go bankrupt as it will clear out these “people.” They spent millions on the congestion charge which does nothing as it only affects a minimum amount of drivers.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 A bunch of incompetents and liars! On the first snow at the end of 2023, me and a few neighbours phoned the winter maintenance/grit department of the council and complained that the grit box on our street has not been refilled.

This is the worst city to visit in the entire country. The local drivers are horrible, aggressive.
The clean air charge is unfair to people who don’t know about it, £120 if you don’t pay beforehand which noone tells you.
Shops are ugly. City centre ugly. Crack smokers near city hall. I heard racism. Saw a knife carrier. Graffiti is everywhere. Parking expensive. Locals look miserable.
I’d never, ever visit this dump of a city in my life again and I’ll be sure to leave negative reviews of trashford on everything I can.
You should pay us to drive in to your dungheap.

Their answer: “We always refill the grit boxes at the beginning and at the end of the winter, but we registered your request and put it down in the system”
We are in January 2024 with freezing temperatures and the street is like ice-sliding in the morning and the grit box is still EMPTY!
So dear citizens keep paying your council tax, so you can go and buy grit by the bag from B&Q or other retailers to de-ice your street.
