Ordered combination of Lamb and Chicken Mandi. We were initially served with the soup which was quite refreshing with the added lemon juice. The Mandi itself was very good. Soft juicy lamb pieces as well as chicken. The rice was good too. The portions were quite generous. Price is quite reasonable. Has complete privacy for my family. It’s a hidden gem worth exploring and experiencing. Would be coming again s d definitely would recommend to my friends.

I’ve had their food at my friend’s party and absolutely loved it. Had to try again and even though the shop is small, their food is delicious.

Tareem’s Kitchen in Leeds offers a cozy slice of Yemen with authentic dishes like the well-loved Mandi Lamb and lamb Haneed meal. Though tucked away in a less bustling location, the flavors and warm service make it a worthy find. A hidden gem for true Yemeni cuisine lovers.

    This is a hidden gem.
If you’re looking for traditional mandi, with that crispy skin and tender meat that just falls off the bone, this is where you’ll find it.
The owner is a true gentleman, takes immense pride in his heritage and culinary creations, evident in every aspect of the restaurant – from the food, to the quaint decor, and his warm, welcoming presence. Look no further for an authentic Yemeni dining experience.

Delicious traditional Yemeni meals and desserts cooked fresh to order, in very big portions. Very helpful service on which options to choose from as a vegetarian, but I’d say its mostly geared for meat-eaters (particularly if you like Lamb).

I returned here as a meat-eater (after being Vegetarian for 3 years) before leaving Leeds for their Maandi Lamb. Has to be the best lamb dish I have EVER had. I haven’t seen their kitchen but I’m pretty sure they use the traditional method of an underground oven or something alike to make the lamb slide off the bone. Spices were amazing.
