Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 From the outside, this cinema has a wow factor as the original facade is well preserved. The interior keeps all the best original features but is roomy and comfortable. Really enjoyed the screening of Harry Hills The Last Caveman.

Rating:4 Went last night to see Priscilla- 1730 showing – it was busy in screen 2 – and warm with so many people in. However the theatre is beautiful- refurbished to a high standard and the staff very welcoming. There is a small bar with snacks but quite a bit of seating dotted about . This is our 3rd visit and can say it’s a firm favourite.

The 56 bus from the centre of town stops outside the cinema. Parking would have been a challenge I think.

Can drive but is close to train station. There was a kind gentleman who checked ticket and guided us to cinema. He also welcomed us before the movie began. The best part was the food and drinks were delicious and so affordable, and there was a bar for those who wanted alcohol. Also drinking water and toilets available for all.
The theatre was gorgeous and sound quality was good.
Really enjoyed the experience, will visit again.

Unfortunately a couple of female staff members on the till are rude. It’s put me off applying to volunteer or ask for snacks.
