Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 Ridiculous service. At a 9:30 showing for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Midshowing I have gone out to get myself a beverage, to be told that the tills had been turned off and the assistant couldn’t serve me. I asked where I should go to get a drink, five guys? To which the server quite rudely shrugged his shoulders and agreed. How can you expect a customer who has paid for a ticket for a 2 1/2 hour film to only grab drinks and snacks pre show.

Rating:2 Visited to watch Dune: Part Two last night, it was on in the IMAX screen, the film was great but unfortunately it was roasting hot in the auditorium. After 10 minutes I was glistening and I then spent the best part of two hours sweating my nuts off, I couldn’t wait for the film to finish so I could go get some fresh air. My wife, who is usually cold all the time, even had to roll her cardigan sleaves up! Quite an unpleasant experience that would certainly make me think twice before returning. My advice, wear shorts.

Rating:3 Like the convenience for parking etc. Better facilities since the refurb, can be very hot in some screens. Pity they don’t have similar choice of films to that of the light. Some films seem to be showing for months and others we would like to see don’t get shown at kirkstall.

Rating:5 My go-to cinema all thanks to my Sky TV subscription, at least I visit once every month. They have a nice massive space with a multiple number of viewing screens, good sound quality on each screen, comfy recliners and friendly staff. Another beautiful things is that there is loads of activities around the place where the cinema is located so you can be rest assured that you will have a good time before and after your movie.
