Rating:5 A gem of a little museum. Housed in a small cottage each room is full of artefacts and fascinating information about the Moravian settlement. As it has limited opening best to check before going. The rest of the village is well worth walking around and there’s a lovely tea shop at No. 54.

Run by volunteers this is currently the district’s only social history museum. An absolute gem that explores the heritage of the Fulneck Moravian settlement from its inception through to the mid 20th century. Highlights include the cultural items collected around the world by Moravian missionaries, the working scullery complete with mangle and Victorian domestic equipment, the ancient wood frame hand loom…and the 200 year old fire engine! If visiting please enjoy but please consider a donation as we need help with running costs.
