Rating:5 Really enjoyed the visit to the Police Museum, the staff are really friendly and our tour guide, Charlie, was really informative, giving us an insight into the history of policing in Bradford City. Lovely to learn the differences (and similarities) to how GMP’s predecessors operated, before it was founded in 1974. Lovely to talk to David outside, giving tips on joining the police, and him telling us about his time in the job. Would definitely recommend.

The inside of the place was incredible, especially the courtroom and prison cells, which were used to film some of the most iconic scenes in television history. The tour guide was really good and explained everything in detail, making it both entertaining and informative. He even gave us tasks to test ourselves, which allowed us to experience how it felt to work as a police officer. We were allowed to take photos and film, but there was one part of the tour where we weren’t allowed to take photos or film, which was a cell that had many names of people. As a criminology student, this tour helped me out massively, and I learned so much that I never knew before. Even though I attend historical events at cemeteries, this tour help...
