Rating:5 Amazing activity to have on the doorstep. I’ve been going here on and off since the 80s.

Rating:5 Great place to go ice-skating. It cost about £9ish to go ice-skating and hire the skates per adult. For the younger kids we hired a penguin to help them skating. For older children there is also the option of hiring a bigger snowman aid. It was lots of fun skating. There are plenty of seats to use/ spectate and toilets. There is also a cafe there which we didn’t use

Rating:4 Bradford ice arena has what you’d expect with few things sprinkled in that you wouldn’t. First of all, they play a lot of great music from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s while you’re skating. There is skates to hire but also a skating shop to buy your own, if you’re a regular skater. The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable and there’s two decent sized car parks near by. The toilets aren’t disgusting but they’re not regularly tended to either so it can smell a little from time to time.

Rating:3 Brilliant place to go with the kids. Went during a kids time but still allow pros on that speed round knocking kids over

In COVID times you have a time slot as they can only allow a certain amount of people on the ice at one time. They don’t ask that you wear a mask on the ice, only ask you to wear one when collecting your skates. Gloves are optional, but as you potentially are touching a lot of surfaces, it would be advisable to wear gloves.
Happy skating!
