First time visit and really enjoyed the taste and service. A bit pricey but hey it’s steak. This place is really good steakhouse if you’re in Yorkshire, worth visiting. Wasn’t a fan of the fillet steak but I really loved sirloin steak, very tender and juicy. The concept is cool, you cook your steak on a hot slab, so you can choose how well done you want it. Obviously they don’t bring it in raw, the service was really good and helpful. Even the owner came out to greet us which is a rare thing these days. Only bad points it’s pricey but you get good food and service with it!

I’ve said this before and I shall continue saying this for a long time – this restaurant serves the best steak in the entire North West! It really is about the experience and not just about eating there.

The garlic chilli prawn starter was amazing and the sirloin steak was as expected – 100% spot on. I usually get the rib eye steak as I prefer my meat to have a bit more fat.

Overall, I would come to this restaurant for the steak every other week if it was local to me. However, I live approx 50 miles away so I try to come once every 2 months or so.

Overall, this is definitely a place to try if you like halal steak that isn’t simply slapped on a wooden board – actually cooking your steak on a hot plate is enjoyable once you get use to it! Ki

Amazing place! Got 4 starters for the 2 of us as we got the Tomahawk main to share. The starters were fabulous especially the Naga wings and nachos. The Tomahawk was a super size 1.2kg monster which we couldn’t finish – it just seasoned just right and we shown how to cook it how we wanted on the stone.

Excellent steakhouse. We drive from Manchester regularly just to enjoy Moguls. The experience is brilliant. Steaks are served on a hot stone, and you cook it to your liking. The steaks are fresh and always of great quality. Highly recommended. Also, keep an eye out for special offers- you can get a starter, a steak and a drink for only £15. This is usually on a Monday or Tuesday. Desserts are fantastic, but could do with more variety. Well worth visiting.

I visited moghuls after all of the hype of hot stone cooking, it was a pleasant experience with a nice ambience. It did have the feel of a curry house with the decor plus music but I was more interested in the food. I like my steak ‘medium-rare’ but it was brought out ‘medium-well’ and was left on the hot stone. By the time it was eaten it was ‘well-done’ and not to my liking. If it was good quality meat I couldn’t taste it as it was cooked so much. I didn’t realise the meat would be pre cooked but maybe that’s a lesson for next time. If there’s a next time.
