Went to the needle exchange and the pharmacist behaved like the needles belonged to her. I made a long journey for to give me a measly 5 needles. The exchange was brought into use so users wouldn’t have to use the same works,w is this a deterrent? It may not be important to you,but to us it’s a matter of life and death. The pharmacist was very rude, find another job if it’s too much.

Went to boots today, to pick up an order and then got some things from the store. The lady behind the tills, had over charged me for the products I purchased. So I said to her that you have charged me too much. So she says “well I scanned the items right in front of you”. I said I know but there’s no way these items come to £71. So she begins to re scan them and it turns out she’s over charged me £20 so instead of apologising she proceeds, “yeah this item was scanned twice” so I said “so you did over charge me.” To which she refunds me £20. I didn’t receive an apology, no please no thank you. Instead this staff member got defensive when I queried why the amount was so high. She then stood in complete silence while I re-bagged my items. The staff in this branch always seem unapproachable and that’s why I tend to order online and pick up in branch. The staff member on the till next to me adds her two pennies by explaining how a ...

Similar experience to someone else on here, went to buy over the counter pain relief and was told I was there a week ago/maybe 2 weeks ago (I haven’t been there since before Christmas, today it is April!) and the pharmacist said I “must have a twin then”… I understand they have a duty of care to sell pharmacy items however I felt like she was very being condescending to me.

The reason for the review is that this is the second time the same lady at the pharmacy has spoken to me like this. When I tried to buy Sleep aid before Christmas she told me they’re too strong for me (I had already spoken to a Dr who said try over the counter before prescription so not sure where she was coming from) but again made to feel like I was stupid.

Seems like this Boots will be the next one to be shut down as they never sell anything you request, the store is always quiet and stock is minimal. Broadway is only round the corner and they are much more understanding, helpful...

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Boots. While browsing the store, we felt we were being followed by a security guard in a way that made us extremely uncomfortable.

We understand the importance of loss prevention, but the constant following made us feel like suspected thieves, which significantly hindered our shopping experience. This ultimately led us to leave the store without making any purchases.

It would be beneficial for Boots to ensure a more welcoming atmosphere for customers. Perhaps security guards could be trained on subtler methods of observation.
