Absolutely disgraceful. Accused of stealing while an actual thief ran out of the store behind him.
Popped into this store to purchase a few items. During scanning the items at self-scan I accidentally scanned an item twice. The security guard (Mr F. Hussain – looking at you) helpfully removed the duplicate item off the list but looked rather confused at the genuine accident of scanning an item twice. Because of our error and packing them straight into our rucksack to save time he then pulled us aside with our receipt to check through our items. I had no problem with this action as I had not done anything wrong and could see how it may have looked as though we are not scanning items, so I was happy to oblige. This is were the debacle started.
Once he had checked through our items and realised nothing was wrong he then proceeded to pull up CCTV footage of me and my family from 7 days ago on his phone. From the grainy footage of the back of my head and shoulders he then accused us...

Tesco is a great brand, this store has a cash machine and all the convienicnce items you need or expect in an Express store. As other comments have stated, the staff (male) are totally unhelpful, you feel intimidated just asking for something. The customer service is so so bad, it’s totally unacceptable from an organisation like Tesco.
Reason for 1 star.
Sandwiches and fresh produce are not stocked in the fridges for by 9am, so can’t grab a sandwich on way to work. The coffee machine is often not working in the morning. Staff have no concept or understanding of Customer Service (i’m sorry I can’t single our anyone, I am sure this doesn’t apply to all staff). I have had this experience multiple times and will not be returning to this store.

I go in when I’m passing by. A small but adequate car park for a quick in and out purchases. The staff have always been polite to me and helpful. It’s actually quite a tidy store. They started doing Evri / Hermes printing to post here which is great! Really convenient.

The security staff need retraining. Was stopped by him even after he watched use the tills just because he didn’t understand the way the meal deal works . He was just rude and I have trained people to work in security so know how he should act plus the fact he was not wearing a mask but this seems normal for the staff here. Not great when you with someone who has low immune system.

Small and usefull.Busy place,may be not available many things but still it is a good place for local people and passer by.
There is a cash machine out side most of the time busy.
