Showing 5 reviews Rating:1 Utter trash is the only way this place can be described. Rubbish food, rubbish service and extortionate prices. First time I’ve ever eaten from here and also the last time. Walked in, ordered a double spicy dip burger meal and a cookie dough, the guy taking the orders is rude and full of attitude when I ask if they accept card payment- strangely they stop taking card payments after 9pm? First I’ve ever heard of a place that stops accepting card payment after a specific time, what next… no Apple Pay before 5pm?

Rating:1 Ordered a spicy dipped burger meal which was hard and dry, when I rang to complain they didn’t do anything about it, not worth the price at all rather have Salah’s which is better quality. The food went in the bin and ordered New Yorks which is alot better and cheaper. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Rating:5 Quality dipped spicy burger, fillet was nice, big and juicy. The chips were crispy even after finishing the burger. Sauces made inhouse something the other stupid fried chicken shops cant do. i would want the dipped to be spicier but thats just us 80-90s lads, the current snowflake gen cnt hack spice. The place is abit cramped inside so could do with more seating. They accept CONTACTLESS PAYMENTS, a big plus as not many carry cash. Well done lads, Def the best fillet in bradford, keep it up!!

It takes over 30 mins to receive my order, bit long but okay no problem they’re probably making it fresh. After I receive my order and drive home and check my order, I’ve only been given a single fillet burger and not the double I had paid for. I ring Chonis to let them know I’ve received an incomplete order and ask if they will send me the missing items to which they reply they want me to drive back and pick it up myself. I’ve just come off a 12 hour shift, I’m tired and hungry...

Granted I was planning on a double dipped burger from Miami Krispy in Manchester but they were shut by the time I got there so this had to do on the way home after midnight.
Firstly, my order took around 10-15 minutes which would have been reasonable if that fillet was fresh. It wasn’t, but that’s maybe just because of the time I was there.
The dipped fillet meal itself was rather underwhelming. A standard generic fried chicken fillet dipped in their in house sauce. Sauce was quite decent, not enough of it though. I wanted this to be dripping out of my burger so I could mop up with fries. Didn’t happen.
This is not exclusive to Chonis but in general with this dipped fillet burger hype. This meal cost me £7. For £1 more I would have got two spicy meals at UKFC or £8.50 from Salahs who use bigger fillets.
Is it really worth that £3 extra just to have it dipped? Not in my opinion.

Got the box meal which was the burger, 4 wings, chips, stir fry donner.
The burger itself was a good quality chicken burger but the “dip” , meaning the sauce they dip it in, had no flavour to it, just felt like a spicy, tangy sauce smothered all over.
The wings were some of the best I had – fresh and piping hot. UNFORTUNATELY, one of the wings were from the bad batch and was completely blacked out meat. Chef should’ve seen that wing as it stood out, ironically, once I dug into the wings.
The chips were absolutely bog standard, and below. Undercooked.
The donner meat on the other hand was decent, not like your usual processed donner meat that every chippy has but had a bit of meat and texture to it. Again, the sauce that they stir-fried it in was just spicy and tangy and was masking the original donner flavour which was a let down.
This place is just a gimmick sold by these online food reviewers who have perso...
