Showing 5 reviews Rating:2 This is a very basic station that isn’t the most suitably located for the area it’s supposed to be serving/has been named after. It has a lack of seating and shelters on the platforms.

Rating:2 Ehh, I like the addition of lifts up to the platforms from the footpath. That’s helpful at least. But the ticket machine is only on the Leeds bound platform, which is very annoying if you’re, let’s say, not going towards Leeds. Station is below average with trains every half hour in each direction.

Rating:5 Basic train station at least it has seating though and I think it has a sheltered area 2 don’t know why it’s called Headingley station though it’s right on the edge of Headingley and probably equal distance to Kirkstall so quite a distance from the centre of Headingley

Rating:3 A very small train station, Platform 1 does NOT have disability access but platform 2 has disability access. This means that if you’re going to Leeds from Headingley there’s no disability access. Trains on this route are a lot of times late say about 5 mins. Overall it’s okay for a place like Headingley.

Rating:3 As had been said there is no disabled access for the Leeds bound platform, so if you want to go to Leeds from here or come here from Horsforth/Harrogate you have a large set of steps to navigate. I have done it with a pushchair, but wouldn’t recommend it.

It’s not really in Headingley either, but in Kirkstall. There’s about a 10 mins walk to the stadium and a bit further to the shops.
Rush hour trains can be ridiculously busy, especially if they only put on 2 carriages. Expect to stand when going to Leeds on a morning.
