Showing 5 reviews Rating:5 My much loved dog –Max, a fox red Labrador died on Wed.8 May 2024, aged 14 yrs and 5 Months. Max had been battling the loss of strength in his back legs since early this year.He was not in pain, and mentally all there.Max adapted to his problems, and we also adapted to give him as much extra quality life that he clearly wanted.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Charlotte was an absolute superstar our vet messed up a few times with the chip number of one of our dogs and Charlotte spotted it with enough time for me to get them to fix it (twice)!

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Charlotte has been providing animal health certificates for our little dog Frankie in order to travel to and from France. She has been so kind and helpful throughout. She responds to emails really quickly and has been very flexible and responsive in booking our preferred appointment times. Absolutely brilliant service and highly recommended.

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Can’t recommend Charlotte enough! My beloved dog had a large tumor on her side and she suddenly deteriorated on a Saturday when the tumor started bleeding. I rang my usual vet and they couldn’t send anyone out as it was the weekend. They said they were too short staffed. I didn’t want to take Asha to the vets as I knew it would be upsetting for her and she was in no fit state to travel. They. gave me Charlotte’s number and I rang her. She came out promptly within about an hour and a half and she was so caring and professional. She made a very bad situation much less traumatic. My dog didn’t suffer at all. Every care was taken so that she passed away peacefully at home. I then received a card from Charlotte expressing her sympathy. It was a massive comfort to me knowing that Asha didn’t suffer. !!

0 You have already voted! Rating:5 Wow what an experience. Having never navigated this stage of a cat’s journey before, I wanted to ensure it was as peaceful and comfortable as possible. What I had imagined would be a difficult decision in terms of knowing the right time – in the end wasn’t difficult at all – fair to say we just knew. Charlotte handled the whole process from the first email, phone call and home visit with care, sensitivity and compassion a true professional. To be at home in our usual surroundings with Charlotte guiding us through the process was precious. Missy graduated to cat heaven beautifully and peacefully just as I had hoped. To have all the time I needed to say goodbye to my furry friend of 18 years and to be able to take care of her final resting place in her favourite spot in the garden seemed very natural. Had I met Charlotte before ? No Would I recommend her services – Yes absolutely. That doesn’t take away from the superb service we received from our own Vets practice there’s just s...

But, time caught up with us all, and it was clear that a difficult decision had to be made.Neither myself or the family felt able to take Max to the vets for the last time.We approached Oakbank Veterinary Services and discussed the possibility of a home visit and for them to carry out the end of life procedure, cremation, and Ashes return.I discussed all these aspects with Charlotte Wright of Oakbank, and we subsequently asked them to make the necessary arrangements, with the visit to take place on 8 May.
