0 You have already voted! Rating:5 I went for an emergency out of hours appointment and they were great. Told me exactly how it works when I called ahead, including fees etc. Didn’t have to wait long while there. Vet was lovely and explained how to take care of my cat while at home too. Receptionist was fantastic, very patient and helpful.

0 You have already voted! Rating:1 Called my vets emergency line as my dog was under extreme distress. Was told to go to the Bradford clinic after explaining the symptoms. Showed up to the clinic for the vet to tell me that as it seems a skin condition this is not something that they would treat in emergency as is not an emergency. I asked why I wasn’t told that on the phone and was told that the line we speak to is a call centre, and that I could’ve asked to speak to the clinic directly, how would I know? Left with a 300+ bill for the inconvenience of being told that they wouldn’t treat my dog as it’s not an emergency. They gave me some antihistamines to help my dog feel better that did not work whatsoever. My dog was screaming in pain for the entire night until the following morning when I went to see me usual vet.

I did ring them back at 1am as they gave me a number to ring if I was worried. I did and was asked if I wasn’t given any pain killers in my first consultation? I wasn’t. So they suggested for me to come ba...

We were seen within about 20 minutes or so of arrival, which was really good considering its an emergency vets and it was a Sunday.
Vets explained everything to us very clearly, and broke down the costs and gave us the opportunity to discuss the best course of action.
He had his stitches there, and they handled all of the insurance details as well.
Excellent attention from both the vet and reception staff
